Cynthia Mickens Ministries is a nonprofit based within Hutchins, and is providing two free summer programs. The first is a STEAM Learning and Feeding Camp (Ages 6-14). The second is the Compudopt Pathways Program designed for highschoolers to gain technology and workforce development skills. Both programs provide lunch. Get ready for hands-on experiments, exciting discoveries, and unforgettable “wow” moments! Mad Science brings STEM to life through interactive activities that spark curiosity and imagination—helping kids explore everything from chemistry and engineering to space and technology in a fun, engaging way.
Let the Beat Build
Let the Beat Build combines music, technology, and creativity to help youth discover their voice and build confidence. Through hands-on music production and mentorship, students develop real-world skills while expressing themselves and exploring new pathways for their future.
Club SciKidz
Club SciKidz brings STEM learning to life through exciting, hands-on activities that keep kids engaged and curious. From robotics and coding to science experiments and creative engineering, students explore a variety of topics in a fun, interactive environment designed to build confidence and inspire a lasting love for learning.

We are excited to introduce the Compudopt Pathways Program, a hands-on technology and workforce development experience for high school students.
Participants will explore in-demand tech careers while building digital and professional skills through interactive, project-based learning. Students will also gain exposure to pathways such as certifications, training programs, and college options.
Program Details:
- 20–25 hours of curriculum
- Limited to 15 high school students
- June 8 to July 3
- Monday–Thursday, 10:00–11:30 AM
- Lunch provided after each session
